Coach T's upbringing under the wing of an NBA and overseas professional basketball player has provided him with countless opportunities to learn about basketball and interact with people who are now legends of the game. Starting an intensive training schedule with his father in the 5th grade, Coach T eventually walked on to George Washington University's men's basketball team. As a college senior in 2006, his team earned a #6 national ranking, ending the season undefeated in the Atlantic 10 conference with an overall record of 27-3. After college, Coach T continued to work with children at St. Patrick's Episcopal Day School as an extended day teacher, also helping their 5th and 6th grade boys and girls basketball teams. Also from 2010-2014 he worked as an assistant coach for the boy's varsity team at the McLean School of Maryland. The Fundamentals Academy has become an outlet for Coach T to use his FUN spirit and pass on his knowledge about sports to the next generation.
