Sharlene Bagga

Sharlene Bagga-Taves I am a public health practitioner and first tried yoga after spraining my ankle in 2002. I loved it – at first for the physical feeling of it, which got me hooked. After years of practice, I came to love the mental health benefits of yoga just as much as the physical. Through my yoga practice I’ve learned how to breathe deeply and mindfully, and to carry that breathing into situations where I otherwise would have been extremely nervous (on my first small plane flight, preparing for surgery). I became a yoga teacher in 2013. My hope in teaching yoga is that I can share what I’ve learned in my practice with you and that you can enjoy the benefits of yoga both physically and mentally in my class and in all aspects of your life as well. I look forward to meeting you on your mat.
